1. Before reporting
Confirm that you own the work or are authorized to act for the owner, and consider whether the use may be licensed, in the public domain, or permitted for reporting, criticism, review, quotation or another lawful purpose. Copyright disputes can be complex; obtain independent advice where necessary.
2. Send a complete notice
Email news.instapress@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:
- Your full name, organization, email and telephone number.
- Identification of the copyrighted work and proof you own it or can act for the owner.
- The exact InstaPress URL, post ID or reel ID for each item you believe infringes.
- A clear explanation of the claimed infringement.
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. What happens next
We may request more information, temporarily restrict content, notify the uploader, remove or restore material, and retain records needed to resolve the claim. We may share the substance of a notice with the uploader so they can understand and respond to it, while limiting unnecessary personal data.
4. Counter-notice
If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, reply to the removal notice with your contact details, the removed content link, the reason restoration is justified, a good-faith statement, and your signature. We may forward the response to the complainant and restore content where legally appropriate.
5. Repeated infringement
Accounts that repeatedly or seriously infringe intellectual property may have content removed, distribution restricted or access terminated. We consider credible evidence, successful counter-notices and abusive reporting when applying this policy.
